124 CDP: The Power of Positivity

May 4, 2017

The world needs more positivity.

I recently got back from a workshop based on the work of Byron Katie, and was reminded about how addicted to our own thoughts we are. At least I am. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in this. Our old loops of thought form grooves in the circuitry of our brains, and are so strong and attractive that they can if we stay there too long, they can actually make us sick. I began to think about what can cause stress and conflict in the workplace, and negativity came to mind…at least chronic negativity that is.

Negativity: A workplace toxin

I’ve experienced this, and perhaps you have too. Negativity in the workplace. It might just be in the form of one coworker who is always mad about something, or cynical, or pessimistic, or it might be spread throughout the organization. Negativity is infectious and working with or being around someone whose default setting is negative, can be utterly draining personally, and can devastate a business if not taken care of.

Join me in this short exploration of how to break that old and worn cycle of negative thought patterns and get yourself on to a fresh new path of positive thinking, gratitude and awareness. Your health and well-being, and that of the world’s is at stake…and YOU are the only one who can make a difference.
